 Register Correction Wheel

• Reduces waste while improving quality and production.
• Cures "Fan-Out" on multi-color jobs where side register is critical.
• Delrin outer wheel has an aluminum hub with a precision ball bearing that allows it to run at ultra high speeds with minimal marking.
• The clamping mechanism swings, allowing for easy mounting on bars ranging from 3/4" to 1 5/16" in diameter.
• All trunnions and threaded pivots are precision machined and all aluminum parts have been anodized to help prevent corrosion.
• Because no tools are required for mounting or adjustment, positioning may be accomplished expediently and safely with no risk of downtime casued by dropping tools in the press.

Gluing & Moistening System

• The high pressure system allow the use of smaller orifices resulting in a finer, more precise line of material, thus less glue consumption and spoiled signatures.  There are also no gears or motors to wear out.
• Designed for use on any combination or high speed folder to glue or moisten any in-line configuration.  Can easily be converted to the moistening mode for elimination of backbone cracking and for more precise, tighter folds.
• Can be operated by a singel person from a remote press location, thereby minmizing make-ready press time and paper and ink waste.
• Eliminates the potential danger of employees manually adjusting head positions while the press is running.
• To accommodate your changing requirements, any number of additional applicator heads can easily be added to an existing sytem.

Remoistenable Glue System

• The system is capable of applying a glue strip as narrow as 1/8" or as wide as 7/8" determined by the width of the channel cut in the gasket.  Special-width heads are also available.
• The thickness of the glue stripe is controlled by the number of gaskets used.  Each gasket is .015" thick and may be stacked in any amount for the desired thickness.
• The pressurized sytem provides accurate control of the glue stripe, low glue consumption and a smooth operation.
• The Air BarTM achieves web stability by creating an air cushion which forces the moving web against the glue head, thus controlling the film thickness of the glue being applied.
• Use of the Air BarTM prevents contact with wet ink on the lower surface of the web.  A backup roller can be used for web stability, but only if there is no wet ink on the lower surface.
• Multiple heads can be operated on a single system to apply as many stripes of glue as required.
• Make-ready time and cleanliness of operation makes this system the most efficient, cost-effective remoistenable gluer on the market today.

Spot Gluing System

• Designed to spot glue on a high-speed web press.
• Designed to tack glue folded product together on pre-folders, plow folders and finishing line operations for ease of handling in later folding or binding operations.
• High-speed valve delivers a precise amount of glue, whether a dot, interrupted stripe or continuous stream.
• Phasing Devise allows the operator to position the glue dot/stripe/stream on the running web in the precise location desired.
• Electronic controller allows the operator to control the length of the glue line by simply adjusting the output time which is adjustable in milliseconds.
• The standard controller operatoes up to two dispensing valves.  Multiple-valve systems are available upon request.
• Operates on 120 volt electrical power and 80 p.s.i. minimum air pressure.
  

 Control Panel

• Make-ready time and paper waste are significantly reduced by the operator's ability to remotely position the fluid stream.  The stainless control panel houses cables with vernier settings for precise positioning and a quick release feature for rapid movement of each applicator head individually from a safe and convenient press location.

• The Turbo Surface Treatment System conditions the web, resulting in higher productivity and less down time.
• High speed rotating buffs deliver powerful yet delicate energy that penetrates the surface barrier without contact, creating a low pressure area, lifting debris and loose particles from the moving web.  Debris are then carried away by a vacuum removal method.
• Can be used on any substrate (paper, mylar, plastic) without damaging the most delicate surface.
• Turbo delivers a clean dust free web for processing.

 Compu-Count I L.E.D. Counter

• Microprocessor-based with programmable control - both for the number of pieces desired per batch, as well as the length of output time at the end of each batch cycle.
• Designed for use anywhere accurate and fast counting and batching is required, e.g. on printing presses, stackers, folding or packaging machines.
• Designed with two large (.560" high), bright, LED displays which are readable at great distances.
• The enclosure is extremely rugged and versatile enough to be mounted even in areas with tight space constriants.
• Standard input signal is by proximity switch but optional laser or infrared sensors can also be used without additional modifications.
• Output signal, occurring at the end of eash pre-set batch cycle, is adjustable from .1 second to 9.9 seconds.

 TF&E Deluxe Rewinder Kit

Operator Side:  Shown is the operator control panel that
operates the rewinder unit on the gearside of presses.  If air shafts
are used we can add the air shaft pressure control to the panel.
