Newspaper Flexo Cushions

  • Flexo plate and impression cylinder packing cushions.
  • Uniform gauge (+/- .0005) for even printing.
  • Controlled compressibility eliminates low spots and produces even printing.  Those choosing nonmetal backed plates will notice it supports the plate much better.
  • Balanced compressibility.  Our compressible membrane has benn specially formulated to allow proper compression without loss of resiliency.  This results in improved operations, longer cushion life, smoother solids and sharper halftones.
  • Sealed cushion surface will not absorb ink and water, which alter compressibility and shorten life.
  • Easier-to-install non-directional fabric substrate eliminates stretching and loss of gauge.
  • Our proven adhesive installs easily, stays on the cylinder during operations and removes clean.
  • Guaranteed square cut.  Our unique method of cutting allows us to guarantee squareness, eliminating gaps between cushions in case of printing near the joint.
  • Cushions ranging in gauge from .037 to .066 thickness'.  Other gauges available upon request.
  • Since the flexo precess utilizes a kiss impression, tight tolerances on all aspects of the cushion are standard.
